In a wicked night of theatre, this sideshow extravaganza throws an irreverent spotlight on 7 deadly Aussie Sins. Oi Oi Oi!!

It’s a wicked world isn’t it? We’ve all been a little wicked at times, it spices up our lives.

Luckily, wickedness never goes out of fashion and 7 writers and performers from the furthest corners of the Australian continent have come together to create a carnivalesque cabaret extravaganza exploring just a few of the of the great sins of the modern world.

In a world gone mad Josh is accused of un- Australian behaviour- he’s a vegetarian at a B-B-Q, so he’s off to hell.

Workers at a local banana processing factory take greed to it’s full extent in order to get the best deal from the new work agreements, a Perth “society diva” is literally caught with her pant’s down and shock jocks, politicians, celebrities, and do gooders all come out for a fierce hammer, wielded by four energetic performers under the direction of highly regarded Hobart director Robert Jarman.

Road to Wardabirr Festival is as follows:

Drive through Katherine to Mataranka.

About 10kms south of Mataranka turn left along Roper River Highway.

At exactly 110km down the Roper River Highway, turn right to Hodgeson Downs (it doesn't mention Minyerri on the signpost).

Drive along this unsealed road carefully - it's not too bad but best not to drive above eighty and watch for a sudden dip in the road about 4 kms in.  You will go past one property (on the right) after about ten kms.  Keep driving down the road for about forty-five kms.  You will find two gates that need opening and closing.  When you go through these you will know you are quite near Minyerri.  A few kms later you will see the town off to the left.  Take the first left turn into the town.

Everyone attending Wardabirr Festival will need to be self sufficent (bring camping equipment, food, toliet paper etc). There is a small shop there but it has limited stock so stock up on food etc before you come.

Also diesel is only avaliable in Minyerri so if you are on petrol you will need to fill up in Mataranka on your way out.

There are no toilets or showers avaliable, you can bring portables with you or use natures toilet.

Please remember to take all your rubbish with you!!!

For furthur information please call 89420166.

Have a good journey - it will be great to see you there!
